Miley Cyrus Breaks Free In 'Can't Be Tamed' Video

Welcome to a whole new Miley Cyrus.
The title track from her newest album, Can't Be Tamed, debuted Friday, and on Tuesday night (May 4), E! News premiered the song's video. In the clip, Miley is trapped in a cage while dressed up like a bird, trashing the museum she's contained in and newly sexualized now that she's Disney-free.
In an interview with Ryan Seacrest that ran after the video's debut, Cyrus said the video wasn't about her new attitude, but about putting a story to the rebellious track. A museum curator introduces "a creature so rare it was believed to be extinct" to a crowd of posh attendees, announcing that "in captivity for the first time, the rarest creature on Earth, Avis Cyrus." ... "There is only one thing more dramatic than Hollywood and that is high school," says teenage pop star Miley Cyrus.
The 17-year-old, who is now a huge international star, says she will never know what it is like to attend the prom or worry about having a date.
"I'm happy with the way things have turned out you know, it's sometimes, it's a little bit of a bummer not understanding what your friends are doing."
But never having experienced any of the normal high school dramas most teenagers her age have, Cyrus insists you "can't miss what you have never known".
"I've got to go to the Oscars and meet so many cool people and go to the Grammys and meet the musicians that I like. I would rather do that, than stress about whether someone likes my dress or that I don't have a date." ... Read More ...

Good Morning America” today announced its sizzling 2010 Summer Concert Series lineup with the hottest chart-topping acts in the country. Along with Miley, June 18, stars Rihanna, Black Eyed Peas and Alicia Keys to pop sensations the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato to country superstars Sugarland and Lady Antebellum, “GMA” will be rocking out all summer long in Central Park.
For a little taste of rock history, “GMA” will also feature The GO-GO’S in their final television performance.
